I am a proud and lifelong resident of Precinct 1, born and raised in Robinson, Texas. The youngest of three daughters to hard working and honest parents, it was instilled into us all early on the importance of both. My dad, Terry Tuley, worked his way up the ladder at different corrugated plants where he finally became the plant manager and then a Consultant in the industry. My mom, Dee Tuley, was a Godly woman who was the Purchasing Director at the local newspaper until her medical retirement.
I attended Robinson ISD throughout my school years where I had the privilege to play sports, be a cheerleader, made some of my best friends and had several positive teachers who showed me direction which has continued to help me through life today.
After high school I attended McLennan Community College where I received my degree in Paralegal Studies. Upon completion of college, I received job at a local attorney’s office where I learned how to perform legal research, prepare legal documentation and the ins and outs of our justice system.
Once I decided to change paths I accepted a job in the Sponsorship Department at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo where I observed the importance of a servants heart and how the organization helps the community and students with their fundraising efforts. During my time there I worked with the Continuing Education Committee, organizing events and helping with the scholarship process. Working in the Sponsorship Department I prepared proposals and contracts; graphed and reviewed the progress of the department sales; and prepared myself for my next role as a County Commissioner’s Administrative Assistant.
As the Administrative Assistant to Commissioner Snell, I have seen first hand the roles of a County Commissioner. I have worked by the Commissioner’s side for the past 7 years and have been involved in the preparations of court, road and bridge projects, working with the constituents and cities of Precinct 1 and helped review policies and budgets for McLennan County. Having this experience has prepared me with the knowledge and understanding of the County Commissioner, Precinct 1 position.
I married the love of my life, Nick Brault. We have 4 children, a 16 year old daughter, Kenly, who is a Junior at Robinson and triplet boys, Carter, Caleb and Colton who are 6 and in First grade at Robinson. As a mom of 4, I enjoy spending my time on the sidelines cheering/helping/coaching soccer, baseball, track, cross county, dance etc. When I am not on the sidelines, I spend time with family and friends, attending Cottonwood Baptist Church in Lorena, and watching Hallmark Movies.
I am an avid believer in giving back to the community and serving others as exhibited in my works with, being on the board of Heart of Texas Moms of Multiples (2014-2015), serving in the church nursery, being dugout mom through Robinson Little League, coaching soccer at Heart Of Texas Soccer, and organizing Food for Families.
My heart is with the future of my children and YOURS! As our community continues to grow I want it to prosper and be a great place to live, work and raise a family.
